The G3 Construction Group (G3) was established in 2003 to meet the growing construction demands of G3’s sister company, Hygieneering, Inc.


Hygieneering, established in 1987, is nationally recognized as a premier Environmental Health and Safety Management Engineering firm. Within every major industry/market sector, Hygieneering provides turnkey environmental engineering/remediation and safety management services throughout the United States for many Fortune 500 companies.


Many of HYG’s clients demanded a turnkey approach to support a very rapid, safe and complete recovery from any type of natural or man-made disaster that had impacted their real estate assets. G3 was initially established with a team of experienced construction project managers to professionally meet this demand.


G3’s Construction Management capabilities expanded Hygieneering’s Emergency Response and Incident Command (ERIC) program’s EH&S capabilities to support a comprehensive, one-contact mitigation and restoration process that is able to rapidly and safely restore any type of disaster impacted real estate asset back to a pre-incident condition with only one call.   

Through the years, with well over 1000 projects successfully constructed, G3 has evolved to become a premier Design Build / Construction Management firm that constructs a wide range of projects to include both Ground Up and Interior Tenant Improvement based projects within the Academic, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Hospitality, Retail, Multi-Tenant Residential and Transportation markets.   

Through G3's partnership with Hygieneering, Hygieneering provides expert Environmental Health and Safety support on each project that G3 constructs. This partnership has achieved a record of zero OSHA recordable injuries on all projects that G3 has constructed to date.


Through this partnership Hygieneering also is able to work very quickly and closely with G3 and our business partners to quickly assess and address any type of environmental concerns that may arise during the construction process to ensure these concerns are addressed in a safe, legal and cost efficient manner.

FirstService Residential and G3 have formed a strategic alliance within the Midwest region to create FirstService Project Management (FSPM), a division of G3 and FSR that provides full-service, turnkey Design - Build solutions for associations managed by FirstService Residential. 

FirstService Project Management

  • Provides project design/permit drawings/bid documents, sub-trade bid solicitation, project scheduling, onsite daily project management and environmental & safety management. 

  • Provides Associations with an open book review of all competitive bids that have been received and qualified by FSPM's Construction Management/Design Build team to transparently develop and approve the overall project scope and final cost as a team. 

  • Reduces liability, schedule delays and costly change orders by having FSPM actively involved with each project from conceptional design through final completion.

  • Reduces workload for the property manager, enabling them to better serve each association.

  • Bridges communication gaps with daily reports.

  • Ensures all projects are built within local codes.

  • Successfully builds each project within each project's scope, schedule and budget that has been approved by each Condo/HOA Board of Directors upon completion of the pre-construction phase. 

  • Protects the association's best interest every step of the way to support the total success of each and every project.
