GREEN HEALTHY BUILDING
In addition to meeting established LEED construction guidelines when so requested, G3 implements three unique green building techniques to support each project we build; thus the name the “G3 Construction Group” was established for the firm.
The three professional green building techniques that G3 provides to support each project includes:
1. Inspection and Assessment - A review of the building material’s Material Safety Data Sheets is conducted to ensure that environmentally safe products are utilized whenever feasible.
2. Environmental Project Management - Throughout the construction process G3 controls the construction work environment through the use of HEPA filtered negative air scrubbing machines. This equipment places the work area under a negative pressure to control the various airborne contaminates that are produced during the demolition and construction phases of each project. This process keeps air contaminates from being dispersed throughout adjacent areas of the construction work site while continuing to scrub/clean the air within the worksite.

3. Project Commissioning - A final preoccupancy commissioning of G3 projects is performed by Hygieneering, Inc.’s IAQ division. This commissioning includes HVAC system operational inspections and indoor air quality baseline testing to ensure that the newly constructed space is in compliance with ASHRAE guidelines and will provide occupants with a comfortable, healthy and productive working environment that enhances employee engagement.
